Chocolate Scotcheroos
Chocolate Scotcheroos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. light karo, 1 c. peanut butter, 6 c. rice krispies and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine sugar and Karo in a 3 quart saucepan.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils.
Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter; mix well.
Add Rice Krispies. Press mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together over hot, not boiling, water, stirring until well blended.
Remove from heat and spread over Rice Krispie mixture.
Cool until firm.
Cut into bars.
