Chocolate Praline Cake
Chocolate Praline Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 stick oleo, 1/4 c. canned cream, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts and 1 c. brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine oleo, cream and brown sugar in small heavy saucepan. Heat just until oleo is melted.
Pour into 2 round cake pans and sprinkle nuts evenly.
Mix cake according to directions on the box; pour into cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for about 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove from pans, placing praline side up; cool completely and spread whipped cream on 1 layer and top with other layer and top with whipped cream.
Garnish with whole nuts and chocolate curls.
