Chocolate Pound Cake
Chocolate Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 sticks softened butter, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream butter and sugar together and add eggs, one at a time, beating between each.
Then add vanilla.
In separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Add sifted mixture alternately with cup of milk.
Spoon into large tube pan, well greased.
Bake at 300Β° for 2 hours.
Let cool in pan.
Remove and wrap in aluminum foil.
Store in refrigerator.
