Chocolate Pie
Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour or 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Add milk and cocoa gradually at same time.
Cook and stir until thick; cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
Beat egg yolks; stir a little of chocolate mixture into them, then stir them into cooked mixture.
Cook for 2 minutes, stirring well.
Add butter and vanilla.
Let cool to room temperature.
Pour into baked shell.
Cover with meringue and bake until brown.
