Chocolate Pie
Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. milk, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 sq. chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Scald milk in double boiler.
Add mixed dry ingredients and chocolate cut in small pieces.
Stir until mixture thickens.
Stir a small amount of mixture into slightly beaten egg yolks and return mixture to double boiler.
Stir until coagulates (2 or 3 minutes) and remove from fire.
Add butter and vanilla; beat thoroughly with rotary beater or electric mixer.
Place in a baked shell.
Cover with meringue made with egg whites.
Bake in 300Β° oven for about 20 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.
