Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. scalded milk, 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 2 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa and salt.

Add 2 egg yolks (slightly beaten) and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

Add scalded milk last and blend.

Cook slowly, stirring constantly in very heavy saucepan. When thickened, pour into baked pie shell.

Top with meringue, if desired.

Can be doubled.
