Chocolate Pie
Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cocoa, 4 to 5 tbsp. flour, 1/8 tsp. salt and 2 c. milk or 1 1/2 c. carnation milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt together.
Gradually mix milk.
Beat egg yolks and a portion of milk.
Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour a small portion that is heated into beaten egg yolks.
Stir, then gradually add to chocolate portion.
Return to microwave.
Continue to cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until cooked to right consistency.
Add butter, then vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
