Chocolate-Peanut Pie
Chocolate-Peanut Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate, 3 large eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup and 1 (12 oz.) jar salted dry roasted peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a heavy small saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, melted chocolate and corn syrup until smooth. Stir in peanuts. Pour into the frozen pie shell. Bake at 350Β° for 60 to 65 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool pie completely.
Brush top with 1 tablespoon of corn syrup for attractive sheen. Makes 12 servings.
