Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, and syrup in a heavy sauce pan. Cook, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
Add 2 Tbsp. margarine, stir until well blended.
Bring to a boil; cover and boil 3 minutes.
Uncover and keep boiling until candy thermometer reaches 234Β°.
Remove from heat, add remaining margarine, nuts, peanut butter and vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Beat until smooth. Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan.
