Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with keebler club crackers, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar, 1/2 lb. margarine and 2 c. graham cracker crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Line with layer of Keebler crackers. Combine sugars, margarine, graham cracker crumbs and milk in a kettle and bring to a boil.
Stir continuously for 6 to 7 minutes. Pour 1/3 (about 1 cup) of caramel mixture over layer of crackers in pan.
Add a second layer of Keebler crackers and pour 1/3 (1 cup) more of the caramel mixture on top of them.
Add last layer of Keebler crackers and cover with last 1/3 of caramel mixture. Cool in refrigerator 1 hour.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Stir until well mixed.
Spread over the layered dessert. Cool completely in refrigerator.
Cut in squares.
