Chocolate Nut Torte(Passover) is an easy dinner. Made with 8 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. cocoa, 1/2 lb. walnuts, chopped and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat egg whites stiff.
Mix yolks with sugar in separate bowl and beat until thick and lemon colored.
Add enough water to cocoa to make a thick paste.
Add to yolk mixture and blend.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake in 10-inch spring-form pan 35 minutes at 350Β°.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
