Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits, 2 1/4 tbsp. grand marnier, 2 whole eggs + 2 egg yolks, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt the chocolate in the liqueur over very low heat and set aside.

Combine eggs + extra yolks, vanilla and sugar in container of blender and blend for 2 minutes.

Add cream and blend for another minute.

Add the chocolate mixture and blend until smooth. The mousse must be made at least three hours ahead and chilled thoroughly.

It will keep for several days in the refrigerator and for months in the freezer.

If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
