Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate morsels, 3 tbsp. sugar, 6 tbsp. cold water, 6 egg yolks and 6 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt chocolate bits and water in double boiler.
Add sugar and mix well.
Remove from heat; add egg yolks and cool.
Beat egg whites to peaks.
Fold into chocolate mixture.
Beat 1 pint of cream with vanilla.
Fold into chocolate mixture and chill for 24 hours.
Whip the remaining 1 pint of cream for a garnish on top of mousse.
