Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 5 tbsp. black coffee (strong and hot), 2 tbsp. sugar, 4 egg yolks and 2 tbsp. rum (dark or light), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place chocolate pieces in food processor and chop finely, turning machine on and off, scraping chocolate down from sides of the bowl.
Add hot coffee and sugar and process until blended. Add egg yolks and rum gradually; continue processing until mixture is well blended.
Pour mixture into a bowl and fold in egg whites. Chill thoroughly before serving.
Serves 8.
