Chocolate Mocha-Dot Cake

Sift together all dry ingredients.
Add shortening, 1/2 cup of buttermilk and coffee.
Beat for 2 minutes until well blended and glossy.
Add 1/3 cup of buttermilk or sour milk, 2 eggs teaspoon vanilla.
Beat for 2 minutes until smooth.
Pour into 2 lightly greased and floured 8-inch layer cake pans.
Bake for
35 minutes at 350Β°.
