Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake
Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing), 1 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking soda and 1 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Pour boiling water over margarine in large bowl.
(Mix with electric mixer) until melted; add sugar and vanilla.
Mix well. Add flour and cocoa (don't sift flour); add soda.
Will foam a bit when soda is added.
This can be baked in an oblong pan (greased and floured) or tube pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 40 minutes.
Will be a heavy cake.
Frost with your favorite.
