Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies
Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. sifted flour, 1/2 c. cocoa, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. soda and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Measure and sift again soda, salt and cocoa.
Cream shortening.
Add sugar and egg and beat well.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately.
Drop and bake at 350Β° for 8 minutes.
Take out and place 1/2 marshmallow on top.
Return to oven for 2 more minutes.
Take out and spread marshmallow over top of cookie with finger.
Ice with chocolate powdered sugar icing.
