Mix all ingredients with electric mixer, except for chocolate chips and nuts, until well blended or for 2 minutes.
Stir in some nuts and all of the chocolate chips.
Put 1/2 cup of the nuts on the bottom of the 9 x 13-inch pan before pouring in the batter. Bake at 325Β° for 45 to 55 minutes.
