Chocolate Fudge Cake

Preheat oven to
Grease, wax paper, 2 (9-inch) layer pans.
Sift into large Mixmaster Mixer bowl sifted flour, granulated sugar, salt and soda.
Add brown sugar, shortening, chocolate,
3/4 cup milk and vanilla.
Beat 30 seconds at No. 1 to moisten flour; then 2 minutes at No. 4. Add remaining milk and eggs.
Beat 1 1/2 minutes longer; pour into pans.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes; cool.
