Chocolate Filled Bonbons
Chocolate Filled Bonbons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter flavor crisco, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 400°.
Cream Crisco, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and egg in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir into creamed mixture. Press 2 level measuring teaspoonful dough around each kiss, covering kiss completely.
Place pecan half on top of each.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400° for 6 to 7 minutes. (Cookies will not brown.)
Gently press pecans into hot cookies. Cool on baking sheet 1 minute.
Remove to cooling racks.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
