Chocolate Eclairs
Chocolate Eclairs is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. self-rising flour and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Add butter to water and cook until butter is melted.
Add all the flour at once; stir vigorously until ball forms in center of pan.
Cool a little.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Mixture should be stiff.
Put in pastry tube for eclair shape or use eclair pans or cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
Split sides and fill when cool.
Frost.
Makes 8 to 12.
