Chocolate Cream Taffy
Chocolate Cream Taffy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. hot water, 1 tbsp. vinegar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and bitter chocolate squares, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine sugar, water and vinegar in a saucepan.
Stir over low heat until dissolved, then boil without stirring until a small amount hardens when dropped into a glass of cold water.
Flavor with vanilla.
Pour into buttered plates and put a square of chocolate into the middle of each plate.
Let cool until it can be handled.
Pull the taffy until chocolate is pulled into taffy and is uniform color.
Cut into one-inch squares. Children love to help make this taffy!
