Chocolate Cream Pie
Chocolate Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 cups milk and 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, flour and salt.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks and return to hot mixture.
Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue and bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
