Chocolate Cream Pie
Chocolate Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Blend flour, cornstarch, salt and sugar in saucepan.
Stir in milk and add chocolate.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Stir a couple tablespoons of this chocolate mixture into your egg yolks.
Return egg yolks and chocolate to the remaining chocolate mixture and stir constantly for 2 minutes; add vanilla and pour into a baked pie shell.
Cool in refrigerator and cover with chocolate Cool Whip before serving.
