Chocolate Cream Pie
Chocolate Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. flour and 4 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine sugar, salt, cornstarch, flour and cocoa.
Gradually add milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat.
Stir a little of mixture into egg yolks, then blend yolks into mixture. Stir in margarine and flavoring.
Pour in pie shells.
Add meringue and bake until meringue browns.
