Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes
Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Blend cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Combine and beat well.
Stir in chocolate chips and set aside. Sift together flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
Fill cups 1/3 full with chocolate batter.
Top each with a heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with sugar and chopped or slivered almonds. Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Refrigerate.
