Chocolate Cookie Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. soda, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix sugar, flour and salt.
In saucepan, mix butter, oil, cocoa and water.
Bring to a boil and add to dry. Beat well. Dissolve soda in buttermilk (it will turn frothy).
Add to mix with eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Pour in a 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake at 400° (or 350°) for 20 minutes.
