Combine flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
Place margarine, water, shortening and cocoa in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Pour over flour mixture.
In another bowl, beat eggs; add buttermilk, soda and vanilla.
Stir well and add to other mixture.
Bake in greased and floured oblong pan for 40 minutes at 350Β°.
