In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and pecan halves.
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour batter into 13 x 9-inch pan (greased on bottom only).
Sprinkle chips and nuts over batter. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350Β° or until cake springs back in center.
Serve plain or with Cool Whip or ice cream.
