Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mix shortening, eggs, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Slowly mix in the flour, soda and salt.
Once all the dry ingredients are mixed, add the chips and nuts.
Drop on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
