Chocolate Chip Candy
Chocolate Chip Candy is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. boiling water, 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats, 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. light brown sugar and 1 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine water and rolled oats; cool.
Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla; beat in eggs.
Blend in oatmeal mixture. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
Beat one minute at medium speed.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle your chosen amount of chocolate chips on top; do not stir.
Bake for 35 minutes at 350Β°. Let sit until cool; sprinkle on powdered sugar.
