Chocolate Caramelita Bars
Chocolate Caramelita Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. oatmeal (quick or old fashioned), 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 3/4 c. butter flavor crisco and 1 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Combine first seven ingredients; mix well.
Reserve 1 cup; press remaining into bottom of prepared pan.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
Cool 10 minutes.
Top with nuts and chocolate pieces.
Mix caramel and 1/4 cup flour until smooth; drizzle over chocolate pieces to within 1/4 inch of pan edges.
Sprinkle reserved oat mixture on top.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
