Chocolate Caramel Nut Bars
Chocolate Caramel Nut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (14 oz.) bag kraft caramels, 2/3 c. canned milk, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1/2 c. melted oleo and 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Combine remaining milk, cake mix and oleo.
Mix well. Press 1/2 of mixture into bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Sprinkle 1 cup walnuts and chocolate chips over crust.
Pour caramel mixture, spreading to edges of pan.
Top with teaspoonfuls of remaining cake mixture.
Press gently into caramel.
Sprinkle with rest of walnuts.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
