Chocolate Caramel Bars
Chocolate Caramel Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) bag kraft caramels, 2/3 c. evaporated milk (5 oz.), 2 pkg. german chocolate cake mix or plain chocolate cake mix, 1 c. margarine, melted and 16 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Combine rest of milk, cake mix and melted margarine; mix.
Press 1/2 of mixture into bottom of greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Remove.
Sprinkle with chocolate pieces.
Top with caramel mixture (spreading to edges).
Top with teaspoonful of remaining cake mixture.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Cool. Refrigerate.
Cut into squares.
