Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sauce
Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. whole wheat flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 tbsp. safflower oil and 3 tbsp. cocoa powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Combine oil and cocoa and add to dry ingredients.
Beat in milk and vanilla.
Pour batter into a lightly oiled or nonstick sprayed 9-inch square baking pan.
Sprinkle the remaining dry ingredients over the top of the batter one at a time, but do not mix.
Pour coffee or water over the top.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
To serve, invert each piece on a serving plate.
