Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 1/4 c. sweet butter, pinch of salt, 1 c. sugar and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift together flour and baking powder.
Melt butter with 1/2 cup water, chocolate and sugar on low heat until all ingredients are combined.
Remove from heat; transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add sifted dry ingredients to melted mixture; mix thoroughly. Combine buttermilk and baking soda; make sure soda is dissolved. Add to main mixture.
Combine eggs and vanilla; add to main mixture.
Put mixture into greased and floured 8-inch cake pan. Bake in preheated moderate oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
Cool thoroughly, then ice.
