Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. soft butter or margarine, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla for 5 minutes. Add chocolate squares.
Mix well.
Add alternately to cream mixture 1 1/4 cup ice water and flour mixture.
Beat well after each addition.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool and frost.
Use chocolate satin frosting.
