Chocolate Brownies
Chocolate Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, 3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a bowl, mix together flour and sugar. Set aside.
Mix margarine, oil, cocoa and water together in a saucepan.
Heat until comes to a boil.
Pour over sugar and flour mixture and beat.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla.
Beat again.
Pour into a greased and floured 12 x 18-inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes or so. Frost with chocolate frosting and sprinkle with nutmeats, if desired.
