Chocolate Bread Pudding
Chocolate Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. milk, 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (i prefer the liquid packets), 4 c. coarse bread crumbs, 1/4 c. butter or oleo, melted and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Scald the milk with the chocolate and butter in it.
Pour over the bread crumbs.
Cool a little.
Then add the egg, sugar and vanilla mixture.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes or until silver knife inserted comes out clean.
Serve warm with or without hard sauce or cream.
