Chocolate Bread
Chocolate Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, sifted, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs.
Add flour and buttermilk. Melt chocolate and add 1/2 cup hot water.
Add to batter.
Bring to boil the other 1/2 cup of hot water.
Add soda and immediately add to batter.
Add vanilla last.
Bake in a greased loaf pan filled 3/4 full.
(There will be extra batter for cupcakes.)
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour.
Keep in refrigerator.
