Chocolate Applesauce Cake

Mix flour, soda, salt and sugar together and make a well.
Add the oil, eggs and applesauce.
Make a paste of cocoa and water. Add vanilla.
Mix ingredients in order.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bundt pans make a nice cake.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Cool and frost.
