Chocolate Applesauce Bread
Chocolate Applesauce Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 sticks oleo, 3 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 3 c. applesauce and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 350Β°. Cream sugar and butter.
Beat eggs well, then applesauce.
Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cocoa.
Mix all together.
Pour in 3 buttered pans.
Fill about 3/4 full. Sprinkle top with chips.
Bake about 1 hour.
Insert knife in center; when it comes out clean, it's baked.
Let cool on wire rack.
Makes 3 loaves.
