Chinese Chews
Chinese Chews is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in flour, sifted with salt.
Stir in vanilla, nuts and dates.
Spread in greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350Β°. Cool.
Cut into bars and sift confectioners sugar over all.
