Chilled Fruit Pie
Chilled Fruit Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, 1 can sour cherries, 1 large can crushed pineapple and 1 pkg. (small) strawberry jello, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook until thick sugar, flour, juice from can of cherries and pineapple.
When mixture is thick, add cherries and pineapple, cook 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, add jello (dry), food coloring, bananas and nuts.
Mix and pour into baked pie shells or graham cracker crust.
Top with Cool Whip.
Makes 2 pies.
