Chili Spaghetti

Chili Spaghetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken up, 1/4 c. shortening, 2 lb. hamburger, 3 medium onions, chopped and 1 can tomato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook spaghetti, not quite done.

Set aside.

In large heavy saucepan, melt shortening; add chopped onions and cook until tender.

Add hamburger and brown.

Add soup, tomatoes, mushroom with liquid, pimentos, chili powder, salt, sugar and pepper.

Add drained spaghetti.

Simmer on low 30 minutes.

Watch closely so it doesn't burn.

Better if sits awhile.

Serve with garlic bread and salad.
