Chili Soup
Chili Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. hamburger, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 qt. tomato juice, 1 1/2 qt. water and 1 qt. kidney beans, cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Fry onion and hamburger (brown).
Heat tomato juice, sugar, chili powder, salt and water to boiling point.
Reserve some water to dissolve cornstarch.
Add hamburger and cornstarch thickening and keep stirring until thickened.
Add beans.
Cook for 5 minutes.
