Chili-Roast Chicken
Chili-Roast Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. low-fat plain yogurt, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. chili powder, 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce and 2 cloves garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a large glass baking dish, whisk the yogurt, cinnamon, chili powder, hot pepper sauce and garlic.
Add the chicken and coat with the marinade.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 500°.
Place chicken skin side up on a raised broiler rack and place in oven.
Immediately reduce the temperature to 350° and roast until the chicken breasts are cooked through and tender, about 45 minutes.
