Chili Rellenos Casserole
Chili Rellenos Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/3 c. sour cream, 1 1/2 c. shredded monterey jack cheese, 3 tbsp. chopped jalapeño chilies, 1 (8 oz.) jar green taco or enchilada sauce and salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In large bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream and green onions. Sprinkle bottom of 13 x 9-inch dish with 3/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese.
Cover cheese with 1/2 the egg mixture, then, in equal portions, layer as follows: chilies, jalapeños, egg mixture, chilies, jalapeños and egg mixture.
Bake 25 minutes at 350°.
