Chili Con Carne
Chili Con Carne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. onion, chopped, 1 c. green pepper, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced and 16 oz. can crushed tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a large kettle, cook beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients in this order: tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, basil and cocoa.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
