Chili Beef Soup
Chili Beef Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 large onion, chopped, 3 c. regular-strength beef broth or 3 bouillon cubes, 1 (15 oz.) can tomato purée and 1 tbsp. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook beef and onion over medium-high heat until meat loses its pink color and onion is soft; spoon off and discard fat.
Reduce heat; stir in broth, tomato purée, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, beans and corn.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Top with cheese after serving.
